The Elmhurst Cougars 12U softball team wrapped up the 2021 fall season with a Halloween doubleheader sweep of the Lombard Thunder by scores of 11-9 and 18-3.

The Cougars rolled to a 19-7-1 fall record thanks to a combination of timely hitting, strong defense, constant hustle and a total team mentality, Head Coach Melissa Folsom said

“What I love about this team is their love for the game and willingness to learn, develop and succeed,” Folsom said. “I’m excited for the 2022 season and watching the girls continue to grow and excel in tournaments. I have all the confidence that we will come out with a championship as well.”
